Location: Remote within the United States; travel to and work onsite at client, temporary, or corporate office locations as business needs require.

Salary: Starting at $69,400 annually; final compensation depends on experience.

What you will do

  • Audit and validate hospital chargemasters, charge capture data, billing processes, and revenue monitoring activities.
  • Perform monthly chargemaster maintenance and lead quarterly and annual coding and charging updates.
  • Lead code update initiatives, system build validation, and revenue enhancement projects.
  • Analyze data and deliver audit results and performance recommendations to clients, departments, and management.
  • Provide guidance and training on chargemaster maintenance, coding, billing, and charging protocol changes.
  • Coordinate multidisciplinary work groups involving clinical departments, coding, medical records, billing, compliance, and information systems.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of post-secondary education and experience.
  • Six years of healthcare industry experience, including experience with physician and hospital operations, compliance, and provider relations.
  • Ability to work independently, lead meetings, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Certifications in patient access or patient accounting; coding certification is highly preferred.
  • CRCR certification required within nine months of hire.
  • Must reside in and be authorized to work within the United States, with the ability to travel onsite as business needs require.

Nice to have

  • Charge Master, EAP, and coding experience.
  • Experience with hospital revenue cycle operations and revenue enhancement initiatives.
  • Interest in using AI and emerging technology to improve processes and patient and client experiences.
