Senior Cloud Engineer (AWS/GCP)

Location: Davidson, North Carolina, United States; onsite Monday through Thursday, with a flexible work location on Fridays

Annual base salary: $99,750–$139,335

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain scalable, resilient, and secure infrastructure across major public cloud environments.
• Develop and maintain Terraform infrastructure-as-code scripts for automated environment provisioning.
• Build and optimize CI/CD pipelines for continuous integration and delivery.
• Support backend applications, microservices, and serverless components with a focus on Node.js runtimes.
• Implement monitoring, logging, alerting, and other observability capabilities.
• Audit cloud resource usage and implement cost and performance optimizations.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, information technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• 3–5 years of production-level experience in cloud engineering, DevOps, or system administration.
• Hands-on experience deploying, monitoring, and managing workloads in AWS, GCP, or another major public cloud.
• Strong proficiency with Node.js and backend scripting using Python or Bash.
• Proficiency with Terraform, infrastructure as code, and version control workflows.
• Familiarity with Docker and Kubernetes.
