Assembly Technician

Location: Milpitas, California, United States; in-person work

Salary: $22–$33 per hour

What you will do

• Assemble products and operate or monitor production machinery and equipment.
• Follow production schedules, adjust processes when needed, and support production targets.
• Perform minor repairs and routine maintenance while keeping equipment and workstations clean and operational.
• Complete basic cable routing, crimping, labeling, tubing fitting, and hose routing under supervision.
• Use calipers, torque drivers, and multimeters correctly.
• Follow EHS, ESD, and PPE procedures, report hazards, and communicate production issues or delays to supervisors.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow processes and procedures.
• Ability to troubleshoot mechanical or technical issues quickly and efficiently.
• Good communication, teamwork, adaptability, and reliable attendance.
• Ability to work around noise, heat, machinery, and production equipment.
• Physical ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry materials weighing up to 50 pounds.

Nice to have

• Previous manufacturing or production experience.
• Semiconductor industry experience.
• Experience with LOTO, complex drawings and schematics, advanced test equipment, or system-level mechanical, electrical, and fluid fault diagnosis.
• Experience with Lean improvements, NPI builds, technical training, or serving as a subject-matter expert.
