Publicity Coordinator (PH), Searchlight Pictures

Location: New York, New York, United States. The position requires flexible hours, overtime, and weekend availability as needed.

Salary: $56,600–$75,900 per year based on a 40-hour work week. Actual pay may vary by geographic region, experience, knowledge, and skills.

What you will do

• Arrange travel, grooming, styling, meetings, and expense reporting for assigned talent, filmmakers, and executives.
• Coordinate press screenings, special events, press check-in, RSVP lists, screening links, press breaks, and campaign materials.
• Support press days, premieres, junkets, film festivals, and other publicity events, including invitations, hotel and car bookings, and press requests.
• Liaise with agencies, consultants, glam teams, vendors, and internal departments to gather assets and execute film campaigns.
• Process vendor setup, contracts, invoices, check requests, and payment-related documentation in coordination with Legal, Finance, Payroll, and Contingent Workforce Management.
• Maintain publicity budgets, talent schedules, film calendars, status reports, and current New York and Los Angeles press lists.

Requirements

• At least 1 year supporting a publicity executive or experience in entertainment publicity or marketing; agency experience is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• Proficiency with Mac and Windows, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Photoshop, and Illustrator.
• Excellent oral and written communication, organization, multitasking, follow-through, and deadline-management skills.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, team-driven environment and take initiative on projects and tasks.
• Experience with social media tools and trends.
