FX Publicity Intern, Spring 2027

Location: Onsite in Burbank, California, United States. The internship runs from January 2027 through June 2027, with a 40-hour Monday–Friday schedule and occasional nights and weekends. Candidates must provide their own housing and reliable transportation in the Burbank area.

Salary: $23.00 per hour in California.

FX Networks develops and distributes entertainment programming, with this role supporting its Publicity and Communications department.

What you will do

• Organize and distribute media clips, coverage reports, and show clips.
• Research ongoing and special projects, maintain press lists, and compile review and feature-story quotes.
• Assist with premieres, festivals, FYC events, panels, and press tours.
• Copyedit press materials and maintain internal status reports.
• Coordinate meetings, take notes, maintain schedules and records, ship packages, and organize archives.

Requirements

• Knowledge of FX programming and entertainment content.
• Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, prioritize deadlines, maintain attention to detail, take initiative, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Previous internship, coursework, or related experience in public relations, communications, media, or entertainment.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
• Enrollment in an accredited college or university, or participation in an eligible Disney program; candidates must be at least 18 and have unrestricted work authorization.

Nice to have

• Senior-year standing.
• Major in Communications, Public Relations, Journalism, Film and Media, or a related field.
