TL;DR
Trade Compliance Analyst III (Supply Chain and Logistics): Managing customs compliance, governance, risk controls, and continuous improvement across import operations with an accent on regulatory adherence, operational KPIs, and broker performance. Focus on analyzing customs data, identifying root causes and risks, developing corrective actions, and governing SOPs and compliance frameworks.

Location: Piracicaba, São Paulo, Brazil; onsite five days a week

What you will do

  • Act as the focal point and subject matter expert for customs compliance, import regulations, and governance.
  • Monitor regulatory changes and implement required process adjustments.
  • Analyze customs declarations, clearance activities, lead times, costs, and compliance indicators to identify risks and optimization opportunities.
  • Develop KPIs, analyze performance trends, and prepare management reports and recommendations.
  • Monitor customs brokers, logistics providers, and other service partners.
  • Develop SOPs, process controls, governance frameworks, training programs, and compliance documentation.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in international trade, business administration, logistics, supply chain management, or a related field.
  • Pre-Advanced or advanced English proficiency required.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, including data analysis, dashboards, and executive presentations.
  • Ability to manage risks, analyze data, solve complex operational problems, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong stakeholder communication, negotiation, ownership, and priority-management skills.
  • Visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

  • Knowledge of Power BI or similar business intelligence tools.
  • Experience in customs compliance, import/export operations, customs brokerage management, or international logistics.
  • Experience with customs audits, compliance programs, governance frameworks, risk assessment, and regulatory interpretation.
