Senior IT Auditor (AI)

Location: Dallas, Texas; office presence required a minimum of 5 days per week. The position is only available at the posted location, and no relocation is offered.

Salary: $118,800–$178,200 USD annual

What you will do

• Execute IT risk assessments, audits, and advisory activities across the technology environment.
• Assess the design and operating effectiveness of controls related to cybersecurity, data protection, IT governance, and cloud infrastructure.
• Develop risk-based audit plans, procedures, workpapers, and comprehensive reports for leadership.
• Evaluate compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, COBIT, ISO 27001, and other relevant standards.
• Monitor remediation activities and validate corrective actions addressing audit findings and control deficiencies.
• Advise stakeholders and use data analytics, automation, artificial intelligence, and audit software to improve audit quality and efficiency.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of related experience in IT audit, risk, controls, public accounting, consulting, or a comparable complex enterprise environment.
• Bachelor’s degree desired in information technology, information systems, cybersecurity, accounting, finance, or a related field.
• Strong knowledge of IT risks and internal controls in IT governance, cybersecurity, data privacy, and cloud infrastructure.
• Experience applying data analytics to audit procedures or risk assessments.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain technical issues to business and senior leadership audiences.
• Ability to collaborate across functions, manage competing priorities, and deliver high-quality work within established timelines.

Nice to have

• Experience with a leading public accounting or consulting firm.
• Familiarity with artificial intelligence, automation, or advanced audit tools.
• Professional certification such as Certified Internal Auditor or Certified Information Systems Auditor.
