TL;DR

Salary: $81,499–$138,549 annually

What you will do

  • Lead and manage multiple projects involving toxicology data, systematic literature reviews, and human health risk assessments.
  • Serve as a technical lead and primary point of contact for client and internal project teams.
  • Develop toxicological reports, protocols, guidance documents, manuscripts, proposals, and project descriptions.
  • Integrate molecular biology, mechanistic toxicology, new approach methodologies, and diverse evidence streams into hazard and mode-of-action analyses.
  • Conduct literature screening, study quality evaluation, data extraction, dose-response analysis, and weight-of-evidence synthesis.
  • Supervise, mentor, and train junior- and mid-level staff while collaborating with toxicologists, biologists, epidemiologists, and statisticians.

Requirements

  • Ph.D. in toxicology, pharmacology, environmental science, or a related field plus 5+ years of relevant experience, or a master’s degree plus 10+ years of experience.
  • Strong knowledge of mechanistic toxicology and molecular biology.
  • Experience integrating mechanistic, animal, and human evidence into weight-of-evidence evaluations.
  • Experience with mode-of-action and adverse outcome pathway frameworks, systematic literature reviews, and regulatory science.
  • Quantitative experience with dose-response analysis, benchmark dose modeling, pathway enrichment analysis, or similar methods.
  • Experience with project management, staff leadership, scientific writing, prioritization, and work under strict deadlines.

Nice to have

  • Experience with transcriptomics, proteomics, metabolomics, high-throughput screening, and other molecular or cellular assays.
  • Experience with endocrine disruptors, PFAS, PAHs, emerging contaminants, or cancer assessment.
  • Familiarity with government programs and regulatory decision-making using NAMs.
