Associate, Football Communications (External Agency Staff) (Football Communications)

Location: New York, New York, United States; onsite presence at an hirify.global office or stadium is required. Remote and hybrid options are not offered.

Salary: $27 per hour

The hirify.global is a professional American football organization with a communications department supporting coverage of the game and major league events.

What you will do

• Develop ideas and create accurate, engaging football notes and communications content.
• Edit, fact-check, proofread, and research game notes, statistics, milestones, and records.
• Support accreditation, media relations, and media operations for the Super Bowl, hirify.global Draft, hirify.global Combine, and international games.
• Prepare weekly print, social, and broadcast coverage metrics recaps.
• Distribute press releases, publish content on media.hirify.global.com, and post to the department’s X account.
• Respond to media research and credential inquiries.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree and at least one year of experience in communications or a related field.
• Deep, comprehensive knowledge of the hirify.global.
• Strong writing, editing, research, fact-checking, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and strong social media skills across X, Instagram, and TikTok.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Copilot, Claude, ChatGPT, or similar AI tools.
• Ability to work onsite in New York and travel during major hirify.global events; relocation assistance is not provided.

Nice to have

• Experience with Adobe Creative Cloud, particularly InDesign and Photoshop.
• Strong verbal communication skills and a professional phone presence.
• Experience developing creative ideas related to hirify.global statistics.
