Location: Broadcasting House, Bristol, United Kingdom; on-site at hirify.global Bristol at least 3 days per week

Salary: £40,600–£50,600 per year, depending on relevant skills, knowledge and experience.

hirify.global Audio produces speech audio programmes and podcasts for Radio 3, Radio 4, the World Service and hirify.global Sounds.

What you will do

• Produce high-quality content for Radio 4 programmes including Rare Earth, The Food Programme, This Natural Life and Farming Today.
• Lead factual series commissioned by Radio 4 and the World Service, maintaining editorial quality and audience engagement.
• Generate and develop original programme, series and strand ideas for Radio 4, hirify.global Sounds and the hirify.global World Service.
• Collaborate with established and emerging presenters across multiple audio genres.
• Create digital and social media content to extend audience reach and programme impact.
• Research and produce stories on environmental issues, rural affairs and food, managing productions from concept to delivery.

Requirements

• High-level audio production skills.
• Strong interest in rural and environmental issues, with substantial experience working on related output.
• Experience working as part of a programme team.
• Ability to support established and new presenters in delivering strong performances.
• Understanding of editorial and legal challenges in factual programming.
• Ability to work on-site at hirify.global Bristol at least 3 days per week.
