What you will do
- Lead UX strategy, design vision, and roadmap initiatives for security software platforms.
- Conduct user-centered design activities including research, usability testing, ideation, wireframing, prototyping, and interface design.
- Use and evolve the Shield design system, design language, and standards across the product portfolio.
- Facilitate workshops with product managers, developers, researchers, and other stakeholders to define product strategy and measurable outcomes.
- Identify opportunities to standardize experiences, reduce design debt, and establish scalable UX practices.
- Lead AI-enhanced design practices and produce developer-ready outputs, interactive prototypes, and implementation assets.
Requirements
- 6–8 years of UX design experience with enterprise or desktop software, web applications, mobile platforms, or similar technologies.
- Strong knowledge of user research methodologies, usability testing, design thinking, visual communication, and conceptualization.
- Experience mentoring and coaching UX designers while contributing hands-on to product decisions.
- Understanding of software development practices and experience working within the software development lifecycle.
- Experience with HTML and CSS, including accessibility practices.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with developers, managers, product teams, and remote distributed teams.
Nice to have
- Experience designing enterprise cybersecurity software.
- Experience with Windows, macOS, Android, iOS, or other mobile platforms.
- Experience with Claude Code or Claude Design, Figma, Miro, Adobe Creative Suite, or Jira.
- Experience working with Agile development teams.
