Director of Product Management (Security)

Location: Hybrid in the Netherlands, Spain, or the United Kingdom

Salary: $210,000–$310,000 annually, depending on compensation tier, plus equity.

What you will do

• Own the security product vision, strategy, multi-year roadmap, and build-versus-buy decisions.
• Work closely with engineering on database security, networking, and identity and access management.
• Translate complex security requirements into product specifications and user stories.
• Prioritize the backlog by balancing business value, customer risk, and engineering cost.
• Drive go-to-market activities for security launches, including positioning, sales enablement, and documentation.
• Represent the security roadmap externally and coach product managers working on security-adjacent areas.

Requirements

• 10+ years of product management experience in B2B SaaS, with sustained focus on security products or features.
• Hands-on experience with database security principles and best practices.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and their security implications.
• In-depth knowledge of identity and access management.
• Experience with program management, risk management, external product representation, and mentoring other product managers.
• Strong communication, presentation, judgment, and prioritization skills in a fast-paced environment.

Nice to have

• Security certifications such as CISSP, CISM, or CompTIA Security+.
