Quality Tech I

Location: Clackamas, Oregon, USA; on-site work at the designated location is required. Shift: 2:00 PM–10:30 PM, Monday–Friday. The role may exceed 40 hours per week based on business needs.

What you will do

• Review documentation and analytical results to approve and release incoming raw materials and finished products for dietary supplement manufacturing.
• Provide quality oversight of production activities and perform in-process analytical checks according to established procedures.
• Troubleshoot out-of-specification conditions, support non-conformance investigations, and help resolve final product discrepancies.
• Support raw material, packaging, and labeling assignments and prepare samples for contract laboratory analysis.
• Develop quality control and quality assurance methods and procedures with the leadership team.
• Maintain accurate records, safe and clean work areas, and compliance with GMP operating requirements.

Requirements

• One of the following: an associate degree in Food Science, Biology, or Chemistry plus two years of manufacturing experience; a bachelor's degree in one of these fields; or four years of manufacturing experience, preferably in quality control.
• Ability to read, write, and communicate in English, use basic shop math and algebra, and perform basic computer tasks.
• Legal right to work in the United States is required.
• Ability to work on-site during the assigned swing shift and pass job-related tests and annual certifications for a cGMP quality environment.
• Ability to wear a self-contained breathing apparatus and occasionally lift, carry, push, or pull materials weighing up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.
• Successful completion of a drug screen and background check, plus adherence to safety policies and required personal protective equipment.

• Experience with FDA and cGMP compliance.
• Laboratory experience.
