Manager, Production Operations

What you will do

• Manage all production operations activities for assigned service providers, including quality, manufacturing, and CSR performance.
• Communicate quality, production, and CSR issues and implement mandated corrective actions.
• Build effective cross-functional relationships with service providers and lead them toward high-performance supplier standards.
• Drive preventive quality measures, improve quality assurance systems, and strengthen production operations staffing and processes.
• Resolve production-related issues and ensure consistent execution of monthly production plans.
• Implement lean manufacturing methods and introduce innovative equipment, materials, and production techniques.

Requirements

• Degree holder with at least 8 years of experience in sourcing handbags, accessories, footwear, or related product lines.
• At least 2 years of managerial experience with well-established companies.
• Strong sourcing background and extensive knowledge of technical production and vendor management.
• Leadership, team motivation, strategic thinking, operational judgment, and data analysis skills.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
• MS Excel skills required; SAP knowledge is an advantage.

Nice to have

• Capability in another Asian language, depending on business needs.
• Experience with SAP systems.
