Logistic and Purchasing Manager

Location: Jakarta, Indonesia; onsite five days a week

Develops rolling stock, infrastructure, rail technologies, locomotives, engines, trackwork, signaling, aftermarket services, automation, connected assets, predictive maintenance, and yard optimization tools for global rail customers.

What you will do

• Manage domestic and international logistics, transportation, customs clearance, and import/export activities.
• Oversee inventory planning, stock control, and warehouse operations to maintain supply continuity and inventory accuracy.
• Develop procurement and sourcing strategies aligned with business objectives.
• Lead supplier selection, contract negotiations, purchasing of goods and services, and supplier performance improvement.
• Monitor procurement, logistics, and inventory metrics and report performance to management.
• Lead, coach, and develop the logistics and purchasing team while promoting safety, accountability, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, logistics, procurement, business, commerce, engineering, or a related discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in procurement, logistics, supply chain, or materials management.
• Experience managing import/export operations, international logistics, supplier relationships, contract negotiations, and strategic sourcing.
• Proven results in cost reduction and process improvement initiatives.
• Leadership experience, strong commercial and analytical skills, and problem-solving capability.
• Experience with ERP and inventory management systems.
