Senior Director, Private Markets Fund Accounting

Location: Hybrid in Union, NJ; New York City, NY; Windsor, CT; or Stamford, CT

Salary: $135,000–$240,000 USD base salary annually in New Jersey and New York. Additional discretionary bonus and/or equity awards may be available.

What you will do

• Set the vision, strategy, and operating model for a large, multifunctional Private Markets organization.
• Lead product strategy, fund accounting and administration, capital accounts, middle office, investment accounting, regulatory reporting, and performance analytics.
• Drive business growth, profitability, client satisfaction, and talent and location strategy.
• Partner with sales and marketing on business development and market expansion.
• Use industry, competitive, and technology insights to guide strategic decisions.
• Communicate strategy, performance, and results to executives and clients.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Mathematics, Accounting, or a related discipline.
• 10+ years of relevant experience at a financial institution and/or fund administrator.
• 5+ years of management or supervisory experience.
• Substantive knowledge of middle office operations and business development.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, accuracy, and control skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects, competing priorities, and tight client deadlines.
