Associate Technical Director (Microsoft Fabric)

Location: Remote within the United States, limited to Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Massachusetts, Maryland, Minnesota, New York, New Jersey, North Carolina, Nebraska, Oregon, Pennsylvania, South Carolina, Tennessee, Texas, or Washington. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States without current or future sponsorship. International relocation and remote work outside the United States are not considered.

Salary: $170,000–$190,000 USD base salary annually, plus benefits.

What you will do

• Define system architectures across application, integration, and unified data platform layers, including Microsoft Fabric.
• Lead end-to-end technical delivery across scope, risks, budgets, timelines, and third-party dependencies.
• Provide technical leadership for code audits, proof-of-concept phases, and initial client engagements.
• Oversee a portfolio of client projects and align delivery teams around architectural visions.
• Collaborate with clients to clarify requirements, communicate architectural value, and propose solutions aligned with business objectives.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in solution architecture and technical design.
• 8+ years of technical team leadership experience.
• Hands-on experience designing and delivering production solutions on Microsoft Fabric, including OneLake, lakehouses, warehouses, Data Factory pipelines, and Power BI semantic models.
• Knowledge of cloud architecture, system design, API development, infrastructure management, microservices, scalability, security, and performance optimization.
• Experience managing delivery scope, timelines, resources, and client engagements.
• Current and future authorization to work in the United States without visa sponsorship is required.
