Lead Corporate Development Analyst (Finance)

Location: Lenexa, Kansas, United States. Applicants must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Occasional travel may be required.

What you will do

• Build and own complex integrated financial models for acquisitions and strategic investments.
• Lead valuation analyses using discounted cash flow, comparable company, precedent transaction, and accretion/dilution methodologies.
• Analyze consolidated financials, enterprise KPIs, and long-range forecasts to identify risks, trends, and opportunities.
• Drive financial due diligence and deal analysis throughout the M&A transaction lifecycle.
• Evaluate strategic fit, synergies, and integration implications of potential transactions.
• Present recommendations to executive leadership and align stakeholders on strategic financial initiatives.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field, or equivalent directly related experience.
• At least 10 years of progressive experience in financial modeling, valuation, and financial analysis, including significant M&A or corporate development exposure.
• Expertise in integrated financial modeling and valuation methods including DCF, comparable companies, and precedent transactions.
• Working knowledge of consolidated financial statements, enterprise KPIs, and long-range forecasting.
• Experience presenting to and influencing executive leadership with strong presentation skills.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. English reading, writing, and communication skills are required.

Nice to have

• Experience in private equity, management consulting, corporate development, or M&A.
• MBA, CFA, or comparable postgraduate coursework.
