Sr, Operational Risk Analyst, Business Risk Management

Location: Remote work from home in Minnesota with travel to a Voya office as business requires

Annual base salary: $114,480–$170,070 USD

What you will do

• Support the development and execution of the operational risk management strategy, framework, policies, and processes.
• Identify, assess, measure, mitigate, monitor, and report operational and business risks across business units.
• Manage risk indicators, scenario analysis, risk events, targeted assessments, control attestations, and post-release reviews.
• Document issues and remediation progress in the GRC tool and prepare risk reports and Risk Committee materials.
• Analyze data, present findings, advise senior leaders, and provide constructive challenge when residual risks exceed standards.
• Develop risk awareness training, improve controls and operating models, and identify opportunities to automate manual processes.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in risk management, accounting, finance, business management, mathematics, or equivalent operational risk management experience.
• At least 4 years of experience in health and wealth, benefit administration, operations, call centers, or related business functions.
• Experience with risk assessments, risk decisions, control implementation, data analysis, and process improvement.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, facilitation, communication, relationship-building, and presentation skills.
• Familiarity with GRC tools, Microsoft Office, Tableau, and SharePoint.

Nice to have

• Experience in employee benefits or benefit administration.
• Experience leveraging AI tools for risk management activities.
• CIA, CRMA, or CFE certification.
