Student Success Coach (Virtual High School)

Location: Fully remote, ideally based in the United States or Europe. Flexibility to work outside standard business hours is required to support students across time zones.

What you will do

• Build consistent relationships with students through regular check-ins, personalized communication, and strengths-based coaching.
• Create an inclusive virtual environment and organize student events, clubs, and community activities.
• Monitor academic progress using student dashboards, course reports, and communication with teachers.
• Identify disengagement or academic difficulties, coordinate interventions, and provide one-on-one support.
• Collaborate with admissions, academic, teaching, and marketing teams on student documentation, scheduling, progress tracking, and recognition programs.
• Maintain student-facing platforms, support onboarding, and liaise with technical support when issues arise.

Requirements

• Understanding of the US secondary education system.
• At least 2 years of experience working with students aged 12–18 as a teacher, tutor, advisor, coach, or in a related support role.
• At least 2 years of fully remote work experience.
• Professional fluency in spoken and written English.
• Strong organization, stakeholder management, and cross-cultural communication skills, with the ability to manage a large student caseload.
• Confidence using learning management systems, student dashboards, and other digital tools, including troubleshooting and user support.

Nice to have

• Experience working in a virtual school.
• Familiarity with IB, Cambridge/A-Levels, or AP curricula.
• Knowledge of the US college admissions process.
• Experience organizing virtual clubs, events, or student communities.
• Background or certification in counseling, advising, or coaching; proficiency in languages other than English.
