Junior Copywriter (French)

Location: London, UK; hybrid work with a minimum of three office days per week

What you will do

• Write and adapt French copy for product descriptions, emails, blogs, social media, marketing, digital, and PR channels.
• Bring hirify.global’s playful English tone of voice to life in natural, engaging French.
• Work with the French Copywriter, English copy team, and wider stakeholders on creative briefs.
• Proofread copy for grammar, spelling, punctuation, consistency, and cultural nuance.
• Develop digital copywriting, SEO, calls-to-action, storytelling, and transcreation skills through feedback and guidance.
• Organise copy and briefs while managing priorities and deadlines.

Requirements

• Native-level written French with an excellent understanding of French idioms and cultural nuances.
• Excellent command of English for working from English-language briefs and source copy.
• Strong French grammar, spelling, punctuation, proofreading, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Some experience writing, editing, or translating into French through an internship, junior role, freelance work, study, or personal projects.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritise work, meet deadlines, ask questions, and respond positively to feedback.
• Examples of work demonstrating writing ability and an interest in digital copywriting and SEO.

Nice to have

• Degree or equivalent experience in French, Journalism, Creative Writing, Marketing, Communications, or a related field.
• Passion for storytelling and enthusiasm for developing copywriting and transcreation skills.
