Senior Bid Writer

Location: Remote or hybrid from offices across the UK; candidates must have a pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK.

What you will do

• Create persuasive content for bids, proposals, propositions, and tender documents.
• Align messaging with NEC branding, strategic objectives, client requirements, and solution benefits.
• Collaborate with Sales, Marketing, Legal, solution leads, proposition leads, and subject matter experts.
• Manage bid content timelines with Bid Managers and ensure submissions meet deadlines.
• Review content for accuracy, clarity, grammar, consistency, compliance, and quality.
• Capture tender feedback and maintain knowledge management processes to improve future win rates.

Requirements

• Proven experience writing and reviewing propositions, proposals, and bids.
• Strong writing, editing, grammar, communication, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Familiarity with bid management processes and knowledge management systems.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, bid management software, and emerging AI-enabled tools.
• Experience working with cross-functional teams and managing projects, deadlines, and feedback.
• Pre-existing right to work and travel within the UK is required, with documentary evidence.
