Cyber Security Evaluator (d/f/m) Airborne Products (Cybersecurity)

Location: Hamburg-Finkenwerder, Germany; the role is based at hirify.global's Hamburg production site and includes business travel in Europe and worldwide.

What you will do

• Develop and perform adversarial security evaluations of airborne products and related services in laboratory environments.
• Review system and multi-system configurations and identify hardware and software vulnerabilities.
• Apply an attacker mindset to the design, development, implementation, and integration of airborne products.
• Develop scripts, tools, and test means for evaluating airborne systems.
• Document findings, recommend fixes, and support security risk analysis.
• Research new attack techniques and share attack scenarios and technical knowledge with international specialists.

Requirements

• Industrial experience in cybersecurity evaluation and penetration testing.
• Advanced computer science knowledge and experience with network security.
• Experience in binary reverse engineering or low-level programming.
• Knowledge of network attack techniques, Linux-based systems, virtualization, and containerization.
• Tool development skills in Python and vulnerability research using static analysis, dynamic analysis, fuzzing, or concolic execution.
• Strong English communication skills and the ability to travel for business in Europe and worldwide are required.

Nice to have

• Experience with CTF challenges.
• Knowledge of ARM, PowerPC, x86/x86-64, or FPGA architectures.
• Radio-frequency, GPS/GNSS, or 4G/5G knowledge.
