Analytical Chemist I

Scientific solutions provider operating an FDA-registered cGMP testing and calibration laboratory for pharmaceutical, compounding, healthcare, and clinical research clients.

What you will do

• Perform routine chemical analyses, including HPLC, assay, potency, impurity, environmental, and laboratory testing.
• Track samples, test progress, and results in EagleTrax or other laboratory information systems.
• Operate, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot analytical laboratory instruments.
• Investigate unexpected results and communicate findings and initial troubleshooting to the supervisor.
• Maintain accurate laboratory records, clean and safe work areas, and compliance with SOPs and regulatory standards.
• Support laboratory operations, compliance and safety audits, special projects, and other workstations as needed.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of experience in a regulated laboratory environment preferred.
• Knowledge of cGMP, cGLP, ISO 17025, USP, and A2LA standards.
• Experience with HPLC, UV-Vis, or other analytical instrumentation.
• Basic analytical instrument troubleshooting and maintenance skills.
• Strong attention to detail, accurate documentation, communication, and collaboration skills; proficiency with Microsoft Office and laboratory information systems.
