Graduate Recruitment Coordinator I (Nursing)

What you will do

• Develop and implement admission, financial aid, and early outreach strategies for graduate and professional practice nursing programs.
• Conduct enrollment consultations and respond to prospective-student questions about admissions, curriculum, licensure, and career opportunities.
• Build relationships with healthcare organizations, alumni, professional associations, and community partners.
• Represent the College at recruitment events, fairs, conferences, webinars, information sessions, and open houses.
• Coach applicants from initial inquiry through matriculation, maintain communication, and remove enrollment barriers.
• Track applicant engagement, recruitment activities, conversion rates, and enrollment outcomes using CRM and admissions systems.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Knowledge of higher education and graduate nursing education is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask and collaborate effectively with faculty, admissions, financial aid, advising, student affairs, marketing, and registrar teams.
• Experience with word processing, spreadsheet, database, CRM, or admissions applications.
• On-site work in McAllen, Texas is required.

Nice to have

• Two years of experience in admissions, enrollment management, recruitment, student services, academic advising, healthcare recruitment, customer service, or a related field.
• Master’s degree.
• Experience with Slate, NursingCAS, ApplyTexas, Common App, or similar CRM systems.
• Experience with virtual recruitment technologies, digital marketing, and graduate financial aid processes.
