Principle Fiat Product Specialist (Payments/Fintech): Owns the planning and iteration of payment channel integrations and infrastructure, including bank integrations, payment gateways, settlement systems, and internal service frameworks, with an accent on scalable multi-region solutions and system reliability. Focus on diagnosing integration failures, optimizing transaction performance, designing failover mechanisms, and coordinating technical, operational, compliance, and external partner requirements.

What you will do
- Own product planning and iteration for payment channel integrations and infrastructure, including bank integrations, payment gateways, settlement systems, and internal service frameworks.
- Design scalable integration solutions supporting multiple payment methods, regions, and partner institutions.
- Collaborate with engineering teams to build stable, reusable, and extensible infrastructure services.
- Coordinate integration requirements, testing, launches, and optimization with banks, payment service providers, and vendors.
- Monitor transaction success rate, latency, system availability, and reconciliation accuracy.
- Investigate API errors, settlement mismatches, callback failures, and connectivity issues while defining incident, failover, and degradation procedures.
Requirements
- 3+ years of experience in payment, fintech, infrastructure, or platform product management.
- Knowledge of payment channel integrations, API design principles, and distributed system architecture.
- Understanding of authorization, clearing, settlement, reconciliation, and transaction routing.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with experience identifying bottlenecks and driving technical optimization.
- Ability to communicate with technical and non-technical stakeholders and independently drive cross-functional projects.
- Experience managing complex system integrations and infrastructure initiatives.
Nice to have
- Experience with banking integrations, payment gateways, or acquiring systems.
- Experience in cryptocurrency exchanges, cross-border payments, or fintech infrastructure.
- Familiarity with service reliability, monitoring systems, or transaction routing strategies.
- Basic understanding of risk control, compliance, and operational processes in payment systems.
