Full Stack Development Lead (Java/Angular/AWS)

What you will do

• Provide technical leadership for a full stack development team building Java, Angular, and AWS-based applications.
• Lead application architecture, service design, integration patterns, and technical trade-off decisions.
• Coordinate feature delivery, enhancements, defect resolution, releases, deployments, incident response, and root cause analysis.
• Contribute to Java backend services, REST APIs, Angular features, database integrations, and AWS components.
• Collaborate with product owners, architects, QA, DevOps, security, and operations teams through Agile delivery ceremonies.
• Mentor developers, remove delivery blockers, review code, and improve development standards and technical documentation.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• 8–10 years of professional software development experience, including full stack development and technical leadership.
• Advanced knowledge of Java, Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, SQL or relational databases, Angular, and AWS services.
• Experience with Git, CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, monitoring tools, and code quality, security, and performance practices.
• Must meet USPTO/IDE requirements.
• No certification is required.

Nice to have

• Experience leading teams in Java, Angular, and AWS environments within federal contracting or regulated enterprise settings.
• Knowledge of Spring Data, Hibernate, JPA, microservices, Docker, ECS, EKS, CloudFormation, Terraform, or AWS CDK.
• Familiarity with Agile/Scrum and secure application development practices.
• Strong analytical, decision-making, problem-solving, and stakeholder communication skills.
