Accountant (Electric Vehicle Leasing)

hirify.global's Electric Vehicles department provides electric car leasing through a rapidly growing business.

What you will do

• Identify and implement process improvements that remove repetitive accounting tasks and create efficiencies.
• Automate financial processes using large data sets and AI where appropriate.
• Perform asset, bank, and balance sheet reconciliations and resolve variances.
• Prepare month-end reporting, journals, and financial analysis.
• Track and report weekly vehicle purchases with business stakeholders.
• Manage creditor and debtor ledgers and resolve payment and receipt queries with Finance Operations and external funders.

Requirements

• Qualified Accountant with ACA, ACCA, or CIMA certification.
• Experience working in a Finance team and in a scale-up or high-transaction environment.
• Experience with accounting software and data tools; NetSuite experience is preferred.
• Advanced Excel skills and the ability to automate processes using large data sets.
• Strong communication, organisational, and attention-to-detail skills with a proactive approach.
