Project – Construction Director (Infrastructure)

What you will do

• Oversee project delivery across pre- and post-contract stages within a matrix PMO organization.
• Coordinate with project management consultants to govern reporting for quality, commercial performance, planning, safety, and risk.
• Validate stage-gate progress, earned progress against baseline schedules, project cost reports, budgets, and cash-flow forecasts.
• Support value engineering, portfolio-wide risk management, stakeholder engagement, approvals tracking, and mitigation planning.
• Forecast milestone completion and identify risks affecting scope, schedule, cost, health, safety, environmental, and quality compliance.
• Coordinate operational readiness, asset transfer, defects liability, completion certification, closeout reporting, and knowledge transfer.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in construction management engineering or architecture.
• PMI-PMP, Professional Engineer, Institution of Civil Engineers membership, or equivalent qualification.
• Minimum 15 years of professional experience managing major civil, infrastructure, and development programmes.
• At least 3 years of experience as a Project Director or Construction Director.
• Working-level experience in logistics, planning, scheduling, risk management, cost estimating, project controls, and reporting.
• Strong health, safety, environmental, and quality commitment, with analytical, problem-solving, communication, and Microsoft Office skills.
