Workplace Endpoint Engineer (SCCM/Intune)

Location: Madrid, Spain; hybrid work with an expectation to be in the office at least three days per week

Base salary: EUR 42,000–70,000 per year for a full-time role, plus potential performance-based rewards and benefits.

What you will do

• Design, deploy, and manage enterprise endpoint solutions using Microsoft SCCM, including site administration, software distribution, patch management, and client health.
• Build and optimize Windows 11 OSD task sequences for bare-metal imaging, in-place upgrades, driver management, and WIM customization.
• Manage the Windows 11 lifecycle, enterprise software packaging, application deployment, and phased feature-update rollouts.
• Administer SCCM infrastructure, including site servers, distribution points, management points, and boundary configuration.
• Act as the L3 escalation point for complex endpoint incidents, performing root-cause analysis and permanent remediation under ITSM processes.
• Develop endpoint automation with PowerShell and Microsoft Graph, maintain technical documentation, and collaborate with the agile Endpoints team on new workplace services.

Requirements

• Strong hands-on experience with SCCM, Windows imaging, OSD task sequences, software packaging, and Windows 11 lifecycle management.
• Experience with endpoint security using Microsoft Defender for Endpoint, Conditional Access, and Zero Trust principles.
• Knowledge of PowerShell, Microsoft Graph API, Active Directory, Group Policy, BIOS/UEFI management, and enterprise hardware tools.
• Understanding of ITSM practices, including incident, problem, and change management; ITIL knowledge is relevant.
• University degree or equivalent qualification in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
• Ability to work in a hybrid setup from Madrid, with office attendance at least three days per week.

Nice to have

• Experience with Microsoft Intune, co-management, Windows Autopilot, Windows Autopatch, and migration from on-premises to cloud-native endpoint management.
• Knowledge of Azure AD/Entra ID, SSO, MFA, Windows 365, and Azure Virtual Desktop.
• Experience with Microsoft Deployment Toolkit, mobile device management for iOS and Android, and vendor BIOS configuration tools.
