Software Engineer I (.NET/Azure)

What you will do

• Design, develop, and maintain backend applications using .NET Core, Azure, microservices, SQL, and AKS.
• Design and implement APIs, business functionality, and solutions aligned with best-practice patterns.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
• Improve application performance, responsiveness, code quality, and maintainability.
• Identify bottlenecks, fix bugs, and manage application deployments.
• Work with asynchronous, event-driven, multithreaded, and containerized applications.

Requirements

• Experience with server-side development in .NET, C#, and .NET Core or .NET 5.0.
• Hands-on experience with Entity Framework Core and SQL Server, including queries, stored procedures, database objects, and SSIS packages or jobs.
• Knowledge of JavaScript frameworks, React, CSS, HTML5, UI fundamentals, and API design.
• Experience with Azure Web Apps, App Service Plans, Azure Kubernetes Service, containers, and container registries.
• Experience with microservices, object-oriented analysis and design patterns, asynchronous programming, Git, Azure DevOps, GitHub, JIRA, and CI/CD.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, collaboration, and learning skills.

Nice to have

• Experience in insurance or reinsurance domains.
