Software Development Lead (Microsoft .NET)

What you will do

• Lead the technical direction, quality, maintainability, security, and operational readiness of a development squad.
• Design, build, test, and maintain secure, observable, reliable production software, focusing on complex and high-risk areas.
• Lead, coach, and mentor engineers through pairing, design discussions, code reviews, and technical feedback.
• Shape delivery plans, provide technical estimates, manage dependencies and risks, and communicate trade-offs to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Work with Architecture and Platform teams on Azure cloud solutions, CI/CD pipelines, deployment controls, security, observability, and Terraform changes.
• Support production services through monitoring, incident response, root-cause analysis, service improvement, and technical-debt management.

Requirements

• Substantial experience delivering production software and providing technical leadership in a multidisciplinary engineering team.
• Deep knowledge of C#, ASP.NET Core, and the Microsoft .NET ecosystem.
• Strong experience designing secure REST APIs, background services, integrations, distributed systems, microservices, messaging, and asynchronous processing.
• Experience with SQL Server, Entity Framework Core, relational data, transaction management, data modelling, and integration patterns.
• Experience designing and operating cloud-native services on Microsoft Azure, including security, identity, storage, messaging, networking, resilience, scalability, and monitoring.
• Working knowledge of GitHub Actions, Azure Pipelines, YAML pipelines, automated testing, security scanning, and Terraform infrastructure as code.

Nice to have

• Full Stack experience with React and TypeScript.
• Experience with accessible responsive interfaces, front-end architecture, state management, API integration, and automated front-end testing.
