Fund Controller (Real Estate) - 12m FTC

Location: Mayfair, London

Salary: £65,000–£75,000 per annum plus benefits

Established real estate investment fund offering exposure to Luxembourg-domiciled closed-ended funds and their underlying investment structures.

What you will do

• Oversee financial control for Luxembourg-domiciled closed-ended real estate funds and associated SPVs.
• Review fund accounting, NAVs, reporting packs and reconciliations prepared by third-party administrators.
• Prepare and review annual and interim financial statements and manage the annual audit process.
• Monitor capital calls, investor distributions, cash, liquidity, forecasts, fund expenses and management fees.
• Support valuations, fund performance reporting, investor reporting, governance and board reporting.
• Work with investment, asset management, administrators, auditors, tax advisers, AIFMs and depositaries on transactions, restructurings and process improvements.

Requirements

• 1–3 years of post-qualified experience at PwC, Deloitte, EY or KPMG.
• Direct audit experience with real estate investment funds, real estate private equity or institutional real estate investment structures.
• Strong technical accounting, financial reporting and audit experience.
• Commercial judgement, analytical thinking and the ability to communicate meaningful insight to senior finance and investment professionals.
• Immediate availability or the ability to start at very short notice.

Nice to have

• Experience with Luxembourg fund structures.
• Interest in using Claude, Copilot, ChatGPT and other AI-enabled tools for analysis, reporting, automation and workflow efficiency.
