Simulation Engineer (Robotics)

Location: Dresden, Germany; regular on-site work at customer locations is required

What you will do

• Build high-fidelity simulation scenes for industrial robotics use cases in NVIDIA Omniverse and Isaac Sim.
• Convert CAD data into clean, simulation-ready assets and maintainable scene setups.
• Kinematize grippers, fixtures, and production equipment for technically correct simulation models.
• Support virtual commissioning and connect virtual validation with real-world deployment.
• Integrate the hirify.global NOVA Extension into customer simulation projects.
• Develop Isaac Sim extensions and reusable simulation tools to improve project delivery and scalability.

Requirements

• Hands-on experience with NVIDIA Omniverse, Isaac Sim, or comparable simulation environments.
• Solid CAD knowledge and experience preparing engineering data for simulation.
• Experience with virtual commissioning, industrial automation simulation, and kinematization.
• Basic understanding of OpenUSD and the sim-to-real gap.
• German at B2 level or above and English at B2 level or above.
• Willingness to work regularly on-site at customer locations and support commissioning activities.

Nice to have

• Programming skills, especially in Python.
• Experience with Git and collaborative development workflows.
