Accounts Assistant (AI)

Location: On-site in London, UK; applicants must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK. Includes one week of remote working per quarter.

Salary: £33K–£41K per year, plus equity.

Develops non-invasive neuromonitoring hardware technology for clinical brain monitoring and the diagnosis and treatment of brain disorders.

What you will do

• Manage accounts payable, including invoice coding, weekly payment runs, and resolving supplier queries.
• Complete daily bank and debit card reconciliations in Xero, monitor bank accounts, and prepare operational transfers.
• Prepare weekly cash status reports for senior management.
• Support month-end activities, including accruals, prepayments, and balance sheet reconciliations.
• Set up suppliers and act as the main contact for invoice and payment queries.
• Administer ApprovalMax, Expensify, Dext, and Xero integrations while improving finance processes through automation and AI.

Requirements

• Experience as an accounts assistant, accounts payable assistant, or cash management assistant.
• Experience using Xero.
• Must be based in the UK and have the right to work in the UK.
• Willingness to embrace AI in daily work and identify new effective uses for it.

Nice to have

• AAT qualification or current AAT studies.
