Location: Basildon, UK; hybrid working with a minimum of six office days per month. Regular travel to the Basildon office is required, with additional office attendance for onboarding, training, collaboration, meetings and development.

What you will do

• Analyse risk data to identify trends, insights and improvement opportunities.
• Support business risk assessments, emerging risk activities and operational resilience work.
• Produce reports, presentations and dashboards for stakeholders.
• Map critical business services across people, technology, premises and suppliers.
• Contribute to business continuity, disaster recovery planning, resilience testing and disruption scenarios.
• Track mitigation actions and collaborate with teams to strengthen controls and resilience.

Requirements

• 2:1 degree or above in risk management, business, finance, economics, data analytics, mathematics, statistics or a related discipline.
• Experience analysing data through university projects, coursework, employment, volunteering or extracurricular activities.
• Confidence using Excel for formulas, sorting, filtering and data manipulation.
• Strong written and verbal communication, attention to detail and ability to interpret and communicate findings.
• Proactive problem-solving, organisation, time management and ability to work independently while collaborating effectively.
• Ability to travel regularly to the Basildon office and attend at least six office days per month.

Nice to have

• Awareness of risk management, audit, compliance or business continuity.
• Experience creating presentations, reports or dashboards.
• Knowledge of financial services or regulated industries.
