MS&T System Engineer M/F/D (Capillary Electrophoresis & Tapestation)

What you will do

• Act as the Global Operations technical interface for new product introduction and coordinate R&D, Quality, Manufacturing, and business stakeholders.
• Lead the transfer of new products from development into mass production and support product validation and manufacturability readiness.
• Define system-level manufacturing concepts, test strategies, industrialization approaches, and launch-readiness criteria.
• Own instruments, assemblies, and modules across the full technology lifecycle, from development through obsolescence.
• Lead root-cause investigations, corrective actions, risk-based qualification strategies, and platform process standardization.
• Support scalable architectures for assembly, calibration, and testing of Capillary Electrophoresis and Tapestation products.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related technical field.
• At least 4 years of experience in a comparable engineering role.
• Fluent German and strong written and spoken English communication skills.
• Experience with complex technical systems, development and manufacturing processes, technical drawings, and CAD tools.
• Strong project management, organizational, analytical, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
• Willingness to travel up to approximately 10% of the time.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of FMEA, DoE, DfX, Value Engineering, or similar engineering methods.
• Experience developing practical solutions for complex technical challenges.
