Systems Integration Expert (Databricks)

hirify.global is hiring for a systems integration role supporting its marketing technology environment.

What you will do

• Design, build, and maintain API-based integrations and ETL pipelines between marketing automation, CRM, lead management, and third-party data platforms.
• Develop ingestion, transformation, and orchestration pipelines in Databricks using Python and SQL, with version control and CI/CD.
• Build custom connectors with authentication, pagination, rate-limit handling, incremental extraction, retries, and idempotent writes.
• Own integration reliability through monitoring, alerting, error handling, dead-letter processing, reprocessing, and source-to-target reconciliation.
• Deliver the technical workstream for marketing automation platform migrations, including integration inventory, data mapping, rebuilds, and cutover testing.
• Evaluate vendor APIs, resolve escalated integration failures, document operational runbooks, and mentor lower-level employees.

Requirements

• At least 3 years of hands-on experience building production data integrations and ETL pipelines in an enterprise environment.
• A four-year or graduate degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Data Engineering, or a related discipline, or equivalent experience.
• Strong Python and SQL skills applied to production data pipelines.
• Proven REST API integration experience, including OAuth or token authentication, pagination, rate limits, retry and backoff logic, and idempotent writes.
• Hands-on experience with a cloud data platform, ideally Databricks, including orchestration, scheduling, and dependency management.
• Working knowledge of CRM data models, lead and contact data flows, version control, CI/CD, data quality, deduplication, and identity resolution.

Nice to have

• Databricks Certified Data Engineer certification or equivalent.
