Data & AI Analytics Engineer

Location: Bucharest, Romania; hybrid remote/office

What you will do

• Design, develop, and optimize scalable data solutions on Snowflake.
• Build and maintain end-to-end data pipelines integrating SAP, enterprise applications, APIs, and external data sources.
• Develop governed data products, data models, semantic layers, and datasets for Finance, Accounting, reporting, analytics, and AI applications.
• Build analytical applications and dashboards using Streamlit, Python, Snowflake, and related technologies.
• Automate data preparation, reconciliation, validation, and transformation with SQL, Python, Alteryx, and KNIME.
• Ensure data quality, lineage, governance, documentation, and adoption of AI-enabled business solutions.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Business Informatics, Information Systems, Finance Analytics, Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field.
• Professional experience in Data Engineering, Business Intelligence, Analytics Engineering, Data Analytics, or Enterprise Data Platforms.
• Hands-on experience with Snowflake in enterprise-scale environments.
• Advanced SQL, strong Python development skills, and experience designing scalable data pipelines and modern data architectures.
• Strong knowledge of data modeling, data governance, master data management, and data quality.
• Fluent written and spoken English required.
