Data Manager - Digital Workplace and Facilities Services (ServiceNow)

Location: Bucharest office, Romania; hybrid work-from-home/work-from-office option

What you will do

• Own end-to-end stewardship, governance, and management of the Employee Care data ecosystem.
• Manage source data from ServiceNow, AskEve, and Rezolve, mapping source structures to analytics needs and closing data gaps.
• Establish change-management processes for schema, field, value-list, and workflow changes, including impact assessments, sign-offs, regression testing, and NNIT validation.
• Define data-quality rules, thresholds, monitoring mechanisms, and remediation activities with source-system owners.
• Lead employee-intent taxonomy, service-accountability model, canonical data modeling, metadata management, and data cataloging.
• Partner with HR, IT, Support Operations, architects, engineers, QA, and business SMEs on KPI definitions, architecture reviews, data-asset validation, and release acceptance.

Requirements

• Degree in Computer Science, Information Management, Data Analytics, Business Analytics, or a related field; a master’s degree is preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in data stewardship, data management, or data governance.
• Hands-on experience with ServiceNow or a comparable ITSM or ticket-management platform.
• Experience designing and running data change-management processes, including regression and NNIT testing.
• Strong understanding of canonical data modeling, taxonomies, data standardization, data architecture principles, SQL, and data-quality assessment.
• Experience working with Databricks and aligning KPI definitions and business terminology with stakeholders.

Nice to have

• Background in Employee Care, HR Services, IT Service Management, or shared services.
• Familiarity with Databricks, Azure, AWS, Power BI, or comparable analytics tools.
• Certifications in data governance, data management, or ITSM.
• Experience contributing to data contracts with SaaS vendors.
