Sustainability Specialist (m/f/d) (ESG)

Location: On-site at the headquarters in Berlin, Germany; flexible working hours and hybrid work are also offered.

What you will do

• Support sustainability data collection, validation, calculation, GHG accounting, and carbon footprint reporting.
• Assist with decarbonisation projects and internal sustainability initiatives.
• Coordinate employee engagement, awareness campaigns, and sustainability communications.
• Identify opportunities for sustainable innovation, process improvement, and data system enhancements.
• Coordinate sustainability tasks with cross-functional stakeholders and departments.
• Monitor CSRD, ESRS, EU Taxonomy, and GHG Protocol developments; maintain compliance trackers, sustainability platforms, and knowledge hubs.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Law, Environmental Science, Sustainability, or a related field.
• 1–2 years of professional experience in sustainability or a similar role.
• Experience with GHG accounting, including Scope 1–3 emissions and Product Carbon Footprints.
• Understanding of European sustainability regulations, reporting frameworks, double materiality assessments, and ESG compliance.
• Experience supporting engagement programmes, awareness campaigns, and cross-functional project tracking.
• Proficiency in MS Office, with working knowledge of Jira and Confluence; fluent English required.
