Software Engineer Intern (Data Foundation)

Location: Seattle, United States; fully in-person schedule up to 5 days a week

What you will do

• Build and operate big data computing frameworks and storage systems for large-scale platform services.
• Design and optimize high-concurrency distributed systems for stability during peak traffic.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders on large-scale engineering initiatives.
• Integrate emerging technologies and improve platform efficiency and scalability.
• Support infrastructure serving the global payment ecosystem.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Software Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Available for a 12-week internship during Summer 2027.
• Programming experience in C, C++, Java, or Golang.
• Effective communication skills, ownership, drive, teamwork, and responsibility.
• On-site availability in Seattle is required because the company is shifting to a fully in-person schedule.

Nice to have

• Currently pursuing a Master's degree in a related technical discipline.
• Experience with AI coding.
• Strong learning ability and clear communication.
