Engineer, Modeling & Simulation

Location: Shanghai, China; on-site five days per week

What you will do

• Design and validate refrigeration systems and air-conditioning products using advanced simulation software and testing equipment.
• Create, develop, and optimize simulation models for systems and components.
• Analyze system performance, identify potential issues, and propose engineering improvements.
• Develop mathematical models for unit control logic and support standardized, modular model design.
• Develop automation tools to improve refrigeration system design workflows and promote intelligent development processes.
• Collaborate with project teams and other departments throughout the product development process.

Requirements

• Master’s degree or above in Thermodynamics, Refrigeration, Cryogenics, Air Conditioning, Heat Transfer, or a related field.
• Good written and verbal communication in both Chinese and English; CET 6 or equivalent English level.
• Strong knowledge of refrigeration principles and experience modeling and simulating refrigeration systems and components.
• Programming experience with C++, Modelica, VBA, Python, or similar computer languages.
• Strong problem-solving, teamwork, coordination, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
