Mgr IT – APAC MES & Global SCADA (Manufacturing Systems): Leading the strategy, delivery, operations, and continuous improvement of MES Siemens eBR across APAC and the Global SCADA technology portfolio with an accent on team leadership, operational excellence, regulatory compliance, and stakeholder management. What you will do
- Lead, coach, develop, and manage a geographically distributed team supporting APAC MES and Global SCADA activities.
- Own the APAC manufacturing systems roadmap, including strategy, delivery, operations, governance, and continuous improvement.
- Ensure system stability, reliability, regulatory compliance, and adherence to IT and business strategies.
- Manage project planning, resources, timelines, risks, milestones, escalations, and issue resolution across multiple initiatives.
- Partner with manufacturing, quality, engineering, automation, site leadership, and global IT stakeholders.
- Build effective relationships with strategic vendors, system integrators, and service providers.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Computer Science, Automation, or a related discipline.
- At least 5 years of IT experience supporting manufacturing organizations, including people leadership.
- Strong understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems, Electronic Batch Record solutions, SCADA platforms, industrial automation, and manufacturing operations.
- Experience delivering medium-to-large manufacturing IT projects and managing budgets, resources, timelines, risks, and governance.
- Knowledge of validation lifecycles, regulated environments, Computer System Validation, data integrity, and manufacturing digital transformation programs.
- Proficient English required for spoken, written, and reading communication.
Nice to have
- Knowledge of Siemens Opcenter or an equivalent MES platform.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, medical device, biotechnology, or another regulated industry.
- Experience leading external system integrators and service providers.
