Design Engineer (Centrifugal Compressors)

What you will do

• Design and develop centrifugal compressor structures for regionalization and new product development programs.
• Perform stress, vibration, and thermal deformation analyses to assess design risks.
• Optimize designs for performance, cost, reliability, and manufacturability.
• Develop and qualify components, resolve technical issues, and support products throughout their lifecycle.
• Release bills of materials, part drawings, and engineering specifications through the engineering change process.
• Work with global engineering and manufacturing teams on regionalization, product maintenance, and continuous improvement.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• More than 4 years of experience with a bachelor’s degree or 2 years with a master’s degree in centrifugal compressors or turbomachinery.
• Technical knowledge of centrifugal compressor structures and design principles.
• Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, 3D modeling tools, GD&T, digital simulation tools, and FMEA methodologies.
• Good communication and cross-functional collaboration skills; effective communication skills in English.

• Knowledge of rotor dynamics and aerodynamics.
