Technical Developer / Analyst (Compliance Technology)

Location: Chicago, IL, United States. Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without employment-based visa sponsorship.

Salary: $88,900–$151,100 USD annual base pay.

What you will do

• Analyze business, regulatory, and operational requirements and translate them into technical solution designs.
• Configure, develop, implement, test, and support LexisNexis sanctions screening, PEP screening, and adverse media solutions.
• Maintain AI models and improve screening effectiveness through data mapping, workflow design, rules tuning, and alert management.
• Design integrations, APIs, data feeds, and automated processes between compliance platforms and enterprise applications.
• Perform root cause analysis, defect resolution, production support, system testing, deployments, and platform upgrades.
• Produce technical documentation and ensure solutions meet security, regulatory, internal control, and data governance requirements.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, information systems, engineering, data analytics, or a related technical discipline.
• 7–10 years of experience in application development, systems implementation, technical configuration, and support within financial services, compliance technology, AML, or financial crime.
• Hands-on experience with LexisNexis sanctions screening, PEP screening, adverse media, and related compliance platforms.
• Strong technical expertise in SQL, data analysis, data mapping, ETL, API integrations, AI development, Python, troubleshooting, and application support.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale solutions and integrations, working with Agile and SDLC frameworks, and supporting testing and production deployments.
• U.S. work authorization is required; employment-based visa sponsorship is not available.

Nice to have

• Experience with LexisNexis Firco Continuity, Firco Trust, Bridger, World-Check, or similar financial crime platforms.
• Knowledge of OFAC, sanctions regulations, AML, KYC, and regulatory compliance requirements.
• Experience with cloud architectures, data analytics platforms, and enterprise reporting solutions.
• Problem-solving, communication, stakeholder management, and vendor management skills.
