Associate, Business Operations (AI Tooling)

Location: San Francisco, CA, United States; travel to warehouses in Texas and New Jersey a few times per year; extended hours may be required.

Salary: $120,000–$160,000 per year base salary, plus equity.

hirify.global is an AI robotics company developing autonomous supply-chain systems and generalist robots for warehouses, fulfillment, and commerce.

What you will do

• Identify repetitive work across operations, finance, sales, supply chain, recruiting, HR, and other teams and replace it with internal tools.
• Build and maintain tools for capacity planning, customer forecasting, pricing, billing, candidate sourcing, and KPI reporting.
• Build Slack bots and assistants that use warehouse, robot, and financial data to answer questions.
• Support tools after launch by fixing issues, helping users, and monitoring adoption.
• Help teams use AI coding tools, including Claude Code, and maintain shared documentation.
• Define and monitor KPIs, maintain data accuracy, manage reviews for sensitive systems, and provide recommendations to leadership.

Requirements

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science preferred; Mathematics, Engineering, or a related technical field also considered.
• 1–3 years of experience in software engineering, data or analytics, solutions engineering, or technical business operations.
• Understanding of data types, functions, APIs, databases, and version control; comfortable with REST APIs, Git, the command line, and AI coding agents.
• Experience building projects with AI coding tools such as Claude Code, Cursor, or Codex.
• Familiarity with LLM APIs, including prompting, tool calling, and structured outputs.
• Strong analytical, communication, business judgment, and problem-solving skills in ambiguous environments.

Nice to have

• Experience building Slack bots, MCP servers, or other team tools.
• Web development and deployment experience with FastAPI, Postgres, React, TypeScript, or Docker.
• Experience with Databricks, dbt, BI tools such as Sigma, or supply-chain, warehousing, logistics, and hard-tech operations.
• Consulting, banking, or business operations experience; a GitHub profile or personal projects.
