Solutions and Services Architect (Healthcare)

Location: Tempe, Arizona, United States

Salary: $85,000–$118,000 annual base salary, depending on location, skills, and experience.

What you will do

• Design scalable, compliant end-to-end TPA workflows across eligibility, claims, billing, and benefit administration.
• Translate cross-functional operational requirements into executable solutions for Claims, Eligibility, Implementation, Account Management, Finance, Compliance, and Tech Ops.
• Own PBM solution design, including current-state system mapping, future-state data flows, file exchanges, and data standards.
• Lead PBM performance reviews, escalations, vendor onboarding, and partnership management through go-live.
• Manage pricing structures, rebate guarantees, drug cost containment, PMPM performance, and vendor cost outcomes.
• Build SOPs, documentation, training materials, and operational reporting for internal teams and leadership.

Requirements

• 7+ years of experience in healthcare, TPA operations, product, systems architecture, implementation, or a related field.
• Experience with PBM operations, data file formats, data dictionaries, and compliance requirements.
• Knowledge of pharmaceutical rebate structures, formulary management, and drug cost containment strategies.
• Working knowledge of legal and regulatory requirements for PBM operations and data sharing, including HIPAA and CMS.
• Experience mapping complex processes and designing end-to-end workflows.
• Familiarity with data management systems, analytics tools, data exchange standards, pricing and rebate agreements, and SOP development tools.
