Solutions Architect (AI)

Location: Remote within the United States

Salary: $135,000–$165,000 USD per year

What you will do

• Lead full-stack architecture and technical feasibility for composable, edge-rendered applications using headless CMS platforms, third-party DAMs, and AWS, Azure, and GCP runtimes.
• Design API mesh architectures and streaming orchestration pipelines using SSE and WebSockets to connect interfaces, microservices, LLM tools, and real-time data streams.
• Architect healthcare data pipelines and integrations around FHIR R4 with zero-trust, HIPAA-compliant security and resilient identity and authentication patterns.
• Optimize backend and edge performance through caching, high availability, disaster recovery, token and payload chunking, and state management.
• Oversee monorepo structures, spec-driven development, federated services, CI/CD automation, telemetry, and release governance.
• Lead technical audits, Architectural Decision Records, Technical Design Documents, and execution roadmaps for engineering teams.

Requirements

• Experience architecting complex, data-heavy systems, composable headless platforms, and distributed microservices.
• Experience building or integrating AI tooling, vector networks, or LLM orchestration layers.
• Hands-on expertise with AWS, Azure, GCP, edge functions, serverless runtimes, GraphQL, REST APIs, and vector or relational databases.
• Strong understanding of asynchronous event loops, Redis, Kafka, RabbitMQ, stateful routing, Vercel, Next.js, or comparable cloud primitives.
• Deep experience with monorepos, spec-driven development, CI/CD automation, and branching and release engineering.
• Ability to navigate ambiguous requirements, prototype architectural solutions, and explain technical trade-offs to executives and engineers.

Nice to have

• Experience with Contentstack, Optimizely, Contentful, or similar composable headless CMS platforms.
