OTM III - Quality Auditor

Location: Griffin, Georgia, United States. Onsite, 3rd shift. Relocation is not available. Visa sponsorship is not available.

Salary: $21.38–$27.31 per hour

What you will do

• Investigate warranty, interplant, and customer-reported defects to determine impact and root cause.
• Contain quality events by inspecting affected in-house products and documenting unit status.
• Perform rework and repairs for contained products and support material disposition for failure analysis.
• Prepare defect investigation summaries covering root cause, containment, inspections, rework, and corrective actions.
• Communicate containment status and coordinate resolution with Operations, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering, Planning, and Engineering.
• Represent Quality in the Griffin NPI process, validate quality system readiness, and participate in NPI builds to identify design and process improvements.

Requirements

• Knowledge of inspection and manufacturing processes.
• Experience working across multiple production work zones or operations.
• Computer experience, including Microsoft Office products.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Availability for a 3rd shift onsite role in Griffin, Georgia.

Nice to have

• Knowledge of engine assembly.
• Experience with IPV test equipment.
• Assembly experience across multiple value streams and commodities.
• Ability to read prints, including EC levels and their impact.
